We seek to impart truth to students through traditional classroom structures in which qualified teachers train curious minds. We encourage curiosity by providing a focused, disciplined environment that stimulates learning.

Mrs. Nancy Crain – Financial Manager

- Manages FACTS Tuition Accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from MSU, an associate degree in Christian Education from Baptist Bible College, and a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education from Sacramento Baptist College
- Married to Kenneth and has 3 adult children that graduated from LCS, and 6 grandchildren

Mrs. Kathy Young – 1st Grade

- Teaches first grade
- Attended Arlington Baptist College and has over 35 years experience in Christian school ministry
- Married to Gordon and has 5 adult children, 4 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, and 10 grandchildren
- Church ministry: Music, and group Bible studies
- Loves traveling from coast to coast to see her kids and grandkids, and speaking about what God has done for her in various ladies’ ministries

- Bachelor’s degree in christian education with a concentration in elementary education from Bethany Bible College in Dothan, AL.
- Married to Joseph and has 2 adult daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 9 grandchildren
- Church ministry: Working with her husband to plant a church in Providence Forge, VA.
- Enjoys playing with her beautiful grandbabies and ministering with her husband at Heritage Baptist Church in Providence Forge, VA

Music
We offer a full range of group music instruction from 3rd – 12th grade, including vocal groups, handbells, and band. Private music lessons in piano, voice, brass, woodwinds, and percussion are also offered on-site. We compete annually in regional, state, and national competitions through the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools and the American Association of Christian Schools.
Athletics
A competitive sports program is available for 7th -12th grades that includes girls volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading, and boys soccer and basketball. We compete against schools from across the state of Virginia and compete in league play and tournaments through the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools.
