Admissions Process

1. Tour
A guided tour of the school may be scheduled with our principal by contacting our office by phone or by email at office@lcsrichmond.com. 

2. Apply 

Start an Application to submit a new student for admittance at LCS or request more information.
 

* We ask that all prospective families read the LCS Student Handbook before beginning the application process. We believe cooperation from home is vital to the education process.

3. Evaluation
Once applications have been processed and accepted, a date and time will be assigned for an evaluation. All students must pass this evaluation to secure placement in the school.
 We ask that students applying to LCS abide by the school’s dress code for the entrance test.

Information

Hours:
  • School day is from 8:05 a.m. -3:20 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Curbside drop-off and pick-up are from 7:50 a.m. -8:05 a.m. and from 3:25 p.m. -3:40 p.m.
  • Extended care offered from 3:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (except on school closures)
  • Students who are not picked up by 3:40 p.m. will be sent to after school care and charged accordingly.

The school is a member of the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS), as well as a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).

2nd Child $5000.00 per year
Each Add'l. Child $4,000.00 per year

Fees

Registration Fee: $300 per student (due within 30 days of a new student's acceptance)
Workbook & Resource Fee: $275 per student (paid to cover the costs of books and other program resources) 
The fee is due by June 12th for elementary students. Middle School and High School fees are due July 12th.

Extended Care: $8 per hour

Sports Fee: $150 per sport
Terms:
  • Discounted tuition rates are only available to additional students within the same household. 
  • Tuition fees may be paid in monthly installments. Please contact us for details. 
  • Late payments may be subject to a late fee.
  • By signing the registration form, you authorize the school to withhold report cards, records, and RenWeb access should your account become 30 days past due.
